Evaluation of Learning
Student evaluation is an essential task of every teacher. Suggestions for evaluation have been presented throughout the book in order to assess specific learning. In Chapter 14, evaluation is discussed in a comprehensive sense. Student performance in the cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains must be developed and assessed by teachers. Presented in the chapter are reasons for evaluation of learning, test planning, procedures for development of various types of tests, and test administration. Methods of rating affective development and performance skills, including supervised experience assessment, are included. You will also find help in this chapter on reporting student grades.
